Come see the magic happen on May 23rd-24th. Winners qualify for the North American Hardcourt Championship also being held in Lexington later this year. For more information on the qualifying series, visit the NAH website.
Construction for the third court begins Friday, August 8th! Check Facefauch for schedule/time updates and what you need to bring to help build.
Help Lexington Bike Polo get the funding we need to host the first NAH Club Bench Championship. Profits will go directly toward constructing the third court on which your favorite teams will battle it out for the 2014 Bench title.
All t-shirts are lovingly designed and printed by Push Push Press here in Lexington, Kentucky.
The NAH recently announced the first Club Bench Championship scheduled on September 27-28, 2014, and Lexington was asked to be the gracious host! The top twelve clubs will be selected to qualify using the new NAH Points system. The eleven highest ranked clubs who elect to send teams, plus the host club (that’s us), will qualify for the tournament. For more details, see the NAH website.
To prepare for the tournament, some court maintenance needs to be done, so get ready to rally. On the agenda will be building the third court, painting the boards, and seeing how bad we can scar Tiff with rubber bands. Oh, and drinking all of the cheap champagne.
Stay tuned for the work schedule, but until then, let’s play polo!
Facebook event here.
Lexington’s Tweed Ride will be the 15th and we will break the tournament in the middle of the afternoon to join the ride. Pickup will also be happening during that time, so if you forget your tweed, no worries.
Returning with a vengeance for spilling blood and own-goals…
