If you can’t make Sunday and still want to try bike polo, check out our Rookie Nights every Thursday evening from 6-11 pm!

1/5/15 Meeting Minutes

North American Championship – Lexington to host Sept 17-20

Preparations: reserve community center, build ref stand for court A, nets between courts, paint middle court, paint outside of courts, repair doors, drill more drain holes

Additional tournaments – general consensus was that we could host the regional if others would come help run it, we would mainly be providing the facility

2015 League Sponsorship packets have been sent out. So far West 6th, Good Foods coop, Alex Meade Bikeworks, and 3rd Street Stuff have committed to sponsoring us for this year. If you know of others interested in sponsoring us, you can forward them the packet here: 2015 Sponsorship Packet

Legacy Trail paving through Coolavin Park will start April 1st. Need to work with parks on signage for the polo courts to face trail?

Mural – ideas for mural on short wall facing County Club

Recruiting efforts – newby night on Thursdays? DLC Thursday Night Live? Bring a friend? Signage at Plantory and Broke Spoke?  Polo 2v2 setup at events like Night Market? Next meeting everyone should come with a recruiting idea.

Plantory – Lexington Bike Polo League was selected to receive a scholarship for part-time membership of The Plantory for 2015!!!  This is very awesome because we definitely will need this space and resource for all our tournament planning this year. Special thanks to the Baldridge family for being our donor!
