Hey everyone! We are going to have a fundraiser for new boards on our resurfaced Coolavin courts. Mellow Mushroom in Lexington will donate 15% of their sales on Tuesday Oct 1st. Customer must bring in this flyer or write on their ticket that they are there in support of Lex Bike Polo.
Please everyone print this out and share this post so we can get money! Remember this will be a multi-use court so it’s not just a fundraiser for Lex Bike Polo!

The Lexington Inline Hockey Association invites roller hockey players of all skill levels to pickup games at “Roller Hockey Every Monday Night” 6pm Coolavin Park (6th & Jefferson) starting Monday, March 11, 2013.

If you are interested in trying out polo, come out Sunday afternoon to Coolavin Park (Jefferson and West 6th). We are generally out there between 3pm and 7pm if the weather is decent. We also play Wednesday nights 6:30p-late. We will have a spare bike and mallet for anyone interested in playing a game or just hitting the ball around. All ages welcome!
This purpose of this league is to build Lexington Bike Polo’s reputation as a legitimate sports league (since we are now a registered non-profit in KY) and to hone our bike polo skills in the bench minor format. This league will run up until April 6th.
Each Saturday we will meet from noon-2pm (times may be adjusted as needed to fit most players schedules) to play three 30 minute bench minor style matches. There will be 2-3 Lexington teams which will compete every Saturday. Some weekends we will play only each other, other weekends we will invite nearby cities. The fee to play is $10 for this winter season and you will receive an *official* Lex Bike Polo BM League shirt.
***Lexington players will be drafted by team captains on 2/14 at 9pm. Please email lexbikepolo@gmail.com to sign-up for the draft.
***Non-Lexington players interested in competing please send an email with your name, city, and Saturdays you can travel to Lex.
We now have a public service announcement that will be running on WRFL for about a month. We have the community bike up and running incase anyone stops by to try it out. See everyone tomorrow around 3pm. The high is 50!

The goal is for each game to start on time. 12 minute games with 2 minutes in between. Be there and ready to get on court, warm up, and play. The game will start with or without you. For every 2 minutes you don’t show up, the present team gets a point. If the game gets to 10 minutes without your team showing, the present team gets a score of 5-0 and the game is over.
